Raymond E. Nolin, a resident of Litchfield, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover, MA and beloved husband of the late Barabara A. Nolin, passed away surrounded by his family at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was 88 years old and lived a good, long and happy life.
Born in Dracut, Massachusetts, on September 29, 1935, he was the beloved son of the late Edward and Virginia (Dickson) Nolin. Mr. Nolin was an Air Force veteran and retired Eastern Airlines Captain who was an avid sports fan and especially loved all things Patriots, Red Sox & Celtics. He loved golf, reading, music and birdwatching and was visited regularly on his back porch by blue birds, finches and humming birds which gave him much joy…even the squirrels which were a comic relief. He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was much beloved by his family, by the local community of Canberra Village and by all who met him and who got to know him—even briefly.
He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Raymond is survived by his loving children; Scott R. and his wife Catherine Nolin of Andover, Kathleen M. Nolin of North Grafton, MA and Brenda and her husband Thomas Gregg of Kingston, NH., grandchildren; Zachary Nolin and his wife Kayla Fosse, Maxwell Nolin, Samuel Nolin, Ben Lubeck, Jason Lubeck and Brian and his wife Sara Gregg, Jack, Thomas and Kevin Gregg and great grandchildren Archie and Abigail along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by brothers Richard Nolin & Robert Nolin and his sister, Lois Mambro (Nolin).
