It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Karol Ann Kelliher, who left us peacefully on May 30, 2024, at the age of 83. Karol was born on December 26, 1940, in Lowell, Massachusetts, and was a cherished sister, aunt, and friend.
Karol was preceded in death by her beloved nephews, Jerry and Jonathan, and survived by her loving family: her sisters, Marylou and Jane; her brothers, Frank and Emmet. She is also remembered by her niece and nephews and their partners and spouses, James and Charles, Jeffery, Jack and John, Jordan and Susan, Karie and Rob; her great-nieces and nephews, Tarah, Brianna, Jessica, Nicholas, Julianna, and Jayden and a host of extended family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and compassion.
Karol was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. She had an infectious smile and a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement. Her dedication to her family and friends was unwavering, and her spirit of giving extended into her community.
Karol had a zest for life. She loved her gardening, her car, her church, and playing the lottery.
Though Karol’s time with us was far too short, her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She taught us the importance of family and the joy of living life to the fullest.
Celebration of Karol’s life will be held for her friends and family in New Jersey and Massachusetts, on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 4-7 PM, at Leber Lakeside Funeral Home - 150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850 - and on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home - 16 Lee St, Tewksbury, MA 01876 - from 9-11 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St Williams Church - 1351 Main St, Tewksbury, MA 01876 - and the interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
Karol, you will forever be missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear sister
