Desiree Destiny Katherine King, age 26, passed away on 05-27-2024. She was born on May 4, 1998 in Springfield. Desiree was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 2016 where she was a varsity cheerleader and also danced for the Unity Dance Spectrum. She worked at Max Burger in Longmeadow. She is predeceased by her father Gregory King. She is survived by her mother Michelle (Howard) Woodman and her stepfather Michael Woodman of Chicopee; grandmother Gail Couture of Springfield; her sister Alexandra Woodman of Chicopee; five uncles, Scott Eisold of Florida and Ricky Eisold of South Hadley, Robert Howard of Westfield, Justin Wilson of Springfield, Shawn Farnsworth of Ludlow; her aunt Angela Daponde of Springfield; childhood close friend Aurora Vaznis of South Hadley , Bill Bell of Chicopee, and Ed Nunes the owner of View Street Tavern in Chicopee, and her beloved dog Marley. She also leaves many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee with an in house prayer service at 2:00 PM.
