Steven D. Lawson, 74, of Derry, NH passed away Sunday May 26, 2024 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born November 26, 1949 in Melrose, MA. He was the beloved son of the late Elayne (Marlborough) Ballard.
Steve worked 23 years as a computer technician at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH and retired as a computer system administrator. His previous career and passion was as a Honda automotive and motorcycle technician, working at the Honda Barn in North Reading, MA, and several other dealerships. He spent his past-time riding his motorcycle and BMW Z3 with his wife Beverly through the backroads of Vermont and New Hampshire. He loved working in his yard and tending his flower gardens, which attracted many varieties of birds to his delight.
Members of the family include his wife of 43 years, Beverly (Davies) Lawson; two sons, Sean (fiancée Debbie McHugh) Lawson, and Kenneth (wife Donna) Lacey; five grandchildren, Crysta (fiancée Richard DiDontis) Lawson, Dylan Lawson, Tyler (wife Alex) Lacey, Ryan Lacey, and Aliceyn Lacey; and a great grandchild, Cameron Lacey. Steven was predeceased by daughter, Sandra Lacey in 2012.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 11th from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A memorial service from 2:30 to 3:00 pm. in the funeral home.
