CHICOPEE – Daniel Thomas Lukasik, 54, of Chicopee Falls, was Called Home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. He passed into Eternal Life unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Springfield on June 7, 1969. A beloved son of Robert J. Lukasik Sr. of Chicopee and the late Kathleen T. (Carney) Lukasik. Danny was raised in Springfield and graduated from Putnam High School, Class of 1987. Dan loved hockey and played for the Van Horn Hockey Association and for Putnam High School. He was inducted into the Springfield High School Hall of Fame. He was also an avid Bruins fan. Dan moved to Chicopee Falls in 2004. Danny was a member of the Plumbers Union Local 104 and was employed by the City of Springfield. He loved his trips with his wife, Deeana, to Hampden Beach and spending time with his many friends and family. In addition to his father, he leaves his beloved wife, Deeana A. (Garcia) Lukasik of Chicopee and his brother, Robert J. Lukasik Jr., along with many family members and friends. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104. His burial will be private. St. Pierre - Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107 is assisting the family.
