Obituary

CHICOPEE – David B. Werbicki, 55, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was born in Holyoke on January 23, 1969, a beloved son of the late Theresa L. (Beaulieu) Werbicki. He was raised and educated in Holyoke, lived in Ludlow, Springfield, and Southwick, and moved to the Fairview section of Chicopee in 1990 where he lived the remainder of his life. He served his country in the United States Army and attained the rank of Private First Class. He was last employed as a foreman for Kleeberg Sheet Metal in Ludlow and was previously employed at East Coast Drop Forge, Berkshire Air Conditioning, the former YMSE Mechanical Contractors, Action Heating and Air Conditioning, Adams Plumbing and HVAC, and Boulanger’s Plumbing and HVAC. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 63 in Springfield. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and was a very patriotic man. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Beverly J. (Dzija) Werbicki. They were married at the Eagles Club in Springfield on July 22, 1989 and were blessed with over 34 years of happiness together. He also leaves his four loving children, David K. Werbicki of Chicopee, Alyssa D. Werbicki-Kirkland and her husband, Dylan Kirkland, and their children, Paisley and Lennon, all of Wilbraham, and Mason J. Werbicki and his fiancée, Amanda Prue-Goodnow, and their children, David and Morgan, all of Chicopee, and Felicia Houle and her children, Chandler and Barrett “Bear”, all of Austin, TX; his two dear brothers, Stanley Werbicki and his partner, Lorna Laker, of Holyoke, and John Werbicki and his wife, Anne, of Belchertown; his dear sister, Denise Ryan of Springfield; his two dear brothers in law, Richard Dzija and his partner, Lila Stec, and Steven Dzija and his wife, Ailla, all of Chicopee; his dear sister in law, Debra Dextraze and her husband, Dean, of Chicopee, and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his three dear sisters, Sharon O’Connell, Debbie Ference, and Mary Werbicki; and his dear brother, Fredercik Werbicki. Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. which will conclude with a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private.
