Helen E. (Kelley) Crowley, 86, a resident of Medway since 1964, died Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Charles H. Crowley who died in 2011.
Born in Boston on December 1, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Helen E. (Conlon) Kelley.
Helen grew up in Boston and graduated from the former St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury.
Retiring in 2000, she had worked for Lumber Insurance Company in Framingham for many years and had previously worked at C.E. King Insurance Agency in Medway.
Helen liked to read, enjoyed gardening, and was an avid N.E. Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her children Helen E. Evers and her husband Tom H. of Bellingham, Carol Ann Niro of Southborough, Charles H. Crowley, Jr. and his wife Aurenir of Plafftown, NC, Mark J. Crowley of Medway, and Kelly Jean Carter and her husband Paul M. of Milford.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one sister Elaine Colwill of New York, and many dear friends. She was the sister of the late Jo-Ann Hamilton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 4 at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
