Obituary

Randolph “Randy” O. Turgeon, 68, of Manchester, NH died Saturday May 25, 2024 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Randy was born in Frankfurt, Germany on October 30, 1955, a son of the late Joseph Turgeon and Helga (Hopp) Sappington. He had resided in Manchester since 2009, formerly living in Derry.

Randy was a proud veteran who served his country with honor and dedication in the Navy. Beyond his naval service, Randy was a highly skilled mechanic, renowned for his extensive knowledge and expertise in car mechanics. His reputation for excellence was well-earned, diagnosing and fixing issues with a precision and care that earned him the respect and gratitude of many.

Randy's family was his greatest pride and joy. As a loving father and uncle, he provided unwavering support and affection. His granddaughters held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in spoiling them, creating cherished moments that will be remembered forever. Randy was also a devoted friend, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand.

Known for his boundless enthusiasm and visionary spirit, Randy loved sharing his dreams and ideas with anyone who would listen. His conversations were filled with imaginative thoughts and grand plans, reflecting a mind that was always active and a heart that was forever hopeful.

Randy Turgeon will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the stories he shared, the cars he repaired, and the family he adored. His legacy of love, dedication, and big dreams will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by, one daughter, Carrie Boucher and her husband Steven of Derry, one son, Christopher Turgeon of Manchester, three grandchildren, Emma Boucher, Juliana Blanchette, and Gabriella Boucher, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna J. (Lee) Turgeon in 2018, and by his sister, Helga Pauley.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Sunday June 2, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will begin at 2:30pm in the funeral home. Immediately following, there will be a gathering with refreshments at the Boucher Homestead, 7 East Derry Road, Chester, NH.
