WORCESTER-Rose W. Ngunjiri, 46, of 59 Whipple Street, died Monday, July 17th, in UMass-Memorial Medical Center. She leaves a daughter, Christine W. Njoroge; a son-in-law Martin Kibunja Mbugua of Worcester; 2 grandchildren, Jasmine W. Kibunja and Kevin Kibunja, all of Worcester; 5 brothers, Dickson Kabugi Ngunjiri, Benson Ndirangu, Patrick Mwangi, Wahome Ngunjiri and Maina Ngunjiri; 4 sisters, Beatrice W. Kariuki, Agnes M. Ngunjiri, Virginia Wanja and Warigia A. Ngunjiri, all of Kenya; 2 sisters-in-law, Anne Mbugua Manzella of Worcester and Elizabeth Munyori Mbugua of Delaware.
She was born in Kenya, the daughter of Johana and Wanjiru Ngunjiri and moved here last year. She was a member of St. John Anglican Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, August 5th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM in St. John's Anglican Church, 950 Main Street. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours are Sunday, July 30th, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers.
