Eva M. Picardi, 97, of Derry, NH, died Monday May 27, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 18, 1926 in Somerville, MA, a daughter of the late John and Benedetta (Pieragostini) Paoletti. She had been a resident of Derry for the past four years, formerly living in Arlington, MA. Eva volunteered at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA for many years. She was also a member of St. Camilla Church for many years.
She is survived by her son, Richard Picardi and his wife Karen; her daughter, Teresa Reddington; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Picardi in May 2023; her son Johnnie Picardi; and her siblings, Tony, George and Antonia Paoletti.
Following cremation, the family will hold memorial services at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
