Robert DiGiampietro, 69

Robert DiGiampietro, age 69, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 27, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Joanne L. (Butler) DiGiampietro, to whom he was wed for forty-eight years.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 26, 1955, he was a loving son of the late Alfred and Angelina A. (Brian) DiGiampietro.
Bob grew up in town and was a 1973 graduate of Mansfield High School. Prior to retiring, he was employed for forty-nine years in the shipping and receiving department at the Foxboro Co. in Foxboro.
Bob’s family was the focal point of his life and he treasured his lifelong friendships. He had a special place in his heart for music and sang in bands with his friends. A New England sports fanatic, Bob played on the Foxboro Co. men’s softball league and also enjoyed playing frisbee golf and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children; Colleen Sutcliffe and her husband Kenny of Lakeville, Robert DiGiampietro of New Bedford, Tina DiGiampietro and her husband Jeremy Handlon of Saco, Maine and Angelina Reardon of Easton and her late husband Andrew Reardon. He was the cherished and proud grandfather of Pearce, Aika, Calvin, Quinn, Kennedy, Jocelyn and Brody. He was the dear brother of Ann Nixon and her husband Bob of North Attleboro, Alfred DiGiampietro of North Attleboro and Diane Salvucci of Milford. He is also survived by his loving brother and sister-in-laws, as well as his loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, June 7th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield
