TEWKSBURY: Martha Queena (Millett) Kelleher, age 83, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Saints Memorial Medical Center, with her family at her side.
She was the wife of the late Raymond L. Kelleher, who died June 10, 2004.
Born in Tewksbury on February 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Margaret (Fitzgerald) Millett.
Mrs. Kelleher was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School in 1940.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Later in life, she became an avid bingo player as well as a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.
Mrs. Kelleher is survived by one daughter; Margaret Leonard and her husband Daniel of Stoughton; two sons; Lawrence Kelleher and his wife June of Nashua, NH and William Kelleher and his wife Cindy of Lowell; five grandchildren; Daniel Leonard, Jr. and Sarah Leonard, Timothy Kelleher and his wife Jessica, Meghan and William Kelleher, Jr.; one great grandchild; Ryan Kelleher; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; one brother; Emmett Millett of Tewksbury.
Mrs. Kelleher was the sister of the late Frederick Millett of Tewksbury.
At the family’s request there will be NO Calling hours. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Tewksbury Hospital, Attn: Patients Fund, 365 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 would be appreciated.
