AnnMarie Pomar, age 63, of Brockton, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the loving wife of Jose L. Pomar, Sr.
Born in Brookline, raised, and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Rosemary (Vlcek) Sullivan of Brockton.
AnnMarie was a loving devoted wife for the past 43 years as well as a caring and nurturing Mother and Grandmother. She was always dedicated to family. She would also put her family’s needs before her own. A beloved daughter, sister and friend she will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She worked for 18 years as a Deli clerk for Stop and Shop.
AnnMarie enjoyed the ocean, reading books spending time with her family as well playing the lottery and caring for her cats.
Besides her husband, Jose, she is survived by her three children, Jennifer L. Milton and her husband David of Norton, Ana Maria Salisbury and her husband Shane of Attleboro, and Jose Pomar, Jr., of Brockton; six beloved grandchildren, Makalia Pomar, Jasmine Pomar, Lilliana Milton, Jose Pomar III, Matthew Milton, and Dominic Pomar; her siblings, Aprile Knochel of Brockton, Rosemary Kard of Brockton, Robert Sullivan of Taunton, Debra Benoir of Taunton, Joseph Sullivan of Brockton; and the late Michael Sullivan Jr of San Diego the late David Sullivan of Brockton and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 10:30 am, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton. All relatives and friends are kindly asked to meet directly at church.
Interment will be privately held at a later date.
