Billy G. Mize, age 64, passed away Friday, July 14, 2006 at his residence in Paris, MS. He retired from Range-Air Corporation and was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Paris Baptist Church and Banner Masonic Temple.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday evening, July 15, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2006 with Reverend Jimmy Sockwell officiating. The committal will be held in Paris Cemetery in Paris, MS with Jim Mosley, Eddie Harmon, Marty Harmon, Hershel Harmon, Ed Ward Huckaby, Bobby Wells, Fredie Martin, and William Huckaby serving as pallbearers.
He is survived by his wife Betty Mize; a daughter, Janet Pruett; and a son-in-law, Lee Pruett all of Paris, MS.
Mr. Mize was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Louise Harmon Mize.
