Obituary

OLD ORCHARD BEACH- Cheryl Kay Parker, died at the age of 75 peacefully at her home on May 22nd, 2024. She will be remembered by her children- Scott, Kurt (wife Carey), Kevin (wife Janine), and Kendall, also her grandchildren Haleigh, Julianna, Aiden and Rosabella. Her siblings Vicky, Barb and John. Cheryl will be laid to rest with her husband Richard A. Parker at Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery. She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends. Cheryl was Artist and Craftsperson for many years she enjoyed not only making art but teaching others and inspiring creativity and joy to those around her. Before having her own children Cheryl and her husband fostered children. Cheryl was a supportive wife to her husband a member of the Old Orchard Beach Fire Department. She was member of the South Portland Church of the Nazarene. Cheryl touched our lives and will be missed Forever and so very deeply.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 31st from 5 - 6 PM, followed by a 6 PM funeral service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) Buxton. Burial will be amongst family at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery with her husband Rick.
