Kimberely Kay Hamad, 60, of West Richland, WA passed away on Saturday May 4th 2024.
Kim was born In Prosser WA on May 16th 1963. She attended Prosser High school and went on to welcome three beautiful children. She was given the opportunity to raise her kids while running her own day-care within her home. After several years Kim started her career at Uni-tech as a Nuclear Labor/Production lead. Kim loved going camping, spending time with family, game nights with her kids, traveling to Coulee City, and hitting the slot machines. Even more so, she enjoyed being a grandma. She had a heart of gold and was full of love, laughter, resilience and touched the lives of all who knew her. At the age of 38 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought that battle for over twenty-two years. She tried her hardest to fight back, but unfortunately the disease was too much. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by Merlin Ralph Byrne (father), Rita Bell Byrne (mother), Kenneth Lee Byrne (brother), Bobi Jo Byrne (niece), and Kayden Micheal Byrne (great nephew).
Kim is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Dave Hamad: Children, Shayne Korsvik , Lisa (Logan) Guajardo, Jennifer (Josh) Romine. Step children: Brandi (Drew) Restivo, Rhiannon Kelsey. Siblings, Debbie (Mike) Lewis, Lester (Jenny) Byrne, Bobby Byrne, Darin (Jolene) Byrne. Grandchildren, Jacob, Jaycee, Payton, Joclynn, Daniel, Joseph, Abigail, Lillian, Cailyn, Jack and step grandchildren, Damion, Bradynn and Brody.
