LACONIA ---- Margaret “Ann” Woglom, aged 84, of Laconia, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024.
Born on March 6, 1940, in Burlington, VT, Ann was a cherished Nanny, sister, devoted mother, and a friend to all who knew her.
Ann is survived by her loving sons, Mark Woglom and his wife Marie, and Kurt Woglom and his wife Alicia; Ann’s former husband and lifelong friend, Bill Woglom; and her siblings, John Mahoney, Ned Mahoney, and Ellie Mahoney of Burlington, VT. Ann has two granddaughters, Kayla Woglom and Christina Lyons, as well a great granddaughter, Sloane Lyons. She is predeceased by her younger sisters, Josie Mahoney and Jean Tessier.
A homemaker at heart, Ann poured her love into gardening, creating culinary delights, and sailing the coast of Maine with her family. Ann’s favorite pastime was sitting on a porch or patio, while engaging in long, laughing conversations with her family and friends. If you know Ann, you know she is somewhere in heaven, laughing, and humming “if you ever ….”, to her new and old friends.
The family is planning a casual get together in both of Ann’s hometowns of Laconia and Burlington. The date and time will be announced later.
Ann’s light and love will be missed, but her warmth, kindness, and the joyful moments she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. In lieu of flowers, her family simply asks that you give a family member or friend a long hug.
