Obituary

Vincenza A. Lupoli, age 96, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center. She was the beloved widow of Simeone Lupoli, with whom she shared over 45 years of marriage before his passing in 1993.

In her youth, Vincenza was a talented musician, a gifted singer, and an accomplished pianist. She frequently performed for WRKO and WEEI Radio in Boston, sharing her musical talents with many.

Together with her husband, Vincenza owned and operated a bakery and donut shop in Billerica during the 1960s. They later moved to Woburn and opened a larger bakery, which they ran until their retirement in 1972. After retiring from the bakery business, Vincenza and Simeone devoted their lives to raising their children and many foster children. Throughout the 1970s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, they welcomed hundreds of children into their home. They were always ready to help, often at the request of their dear friend Tony Mazzaglia, and provided a warm meal and a friendly home to any child in need.

Vincenza was a loving mother and dedicated foster parent, recognized for her compassion and generosity with an award from Governor Weld. Her hobbies included crocheting, singing, and playing the piano and organ. She was an active member of the Sweet Adelines, performing with them in the Tewksbury and Andover areas.

She is survived by her children: Domenic Lupoli and his wife Susan of Londonderry, NH; Vincent Lupoli Sr. and his wife Roxanne of Center Barnstead, NH; and Samuel Lupoli and his wife Denise of Groton, MA.
