Nancy Myrtle (Bennett) Aulenback Gould, 91 , of Millis passed away peacefully at the Thomas Upham House in Medfield. She was the wife of the late Richard Aulenback, Sr. of Millis and the late Howard Maynard Gould of Millis.
Born in Franklin, November 12, 1932, the daughter of the late Carl Erwin Bennett and Myrtle Bradford (Chase ) Bennett, Nancy was educated in the Millis Public Schools and at the Henry O. Peabody School in Norwood.
Nancy had lived in Millis and raised her family there all of her life.
In the early years of her life Nancy worked as a sales representative for Vander Cosmetics and hosted many Vander parties at her home. She worked as a hostess at the Glen Ellen Country Club in Millis and later worked as an attendant at Medfield State Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Nancy is survived by her three children, her special daughter Jill Marie Aulenback of Millis, who was the love of her life; Richard Aulenback , Jr. and his wife Tammy whom she lived with for over 32 years and Donna Aulenback of Ashland.
She is also survived by her sister Sally Signoriello of Foxboro and was the sister of the late Ralph Bennett, Carl Bennett, Herbert Bennett, and Elizabeth Earl.
Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Chace and her husband Richard of Norfolk, Brad Aulenback and his Fiancé Dee of Medfield, Kasey American Horse and her husband Josh of Millis and Nicholas Grieve and his wife Samantha of Oxford.
Nancy is also survived by her four great- grandchildren, Ben, Jack, and Violet Chace; Kennedy American Horse and two more little ones on the way.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com ) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00a.m.
Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis.
Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00-11:00a.m. in the funeral home.
