Fannie Elizabeth McKinney Park Ellis, 79, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Ellis at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Lawrence Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Roger Tucker officiated.
Born June 26, 1923, in Bibb County, Mrs. Ellis was the daughter of the late John McKinney and Mamie Wadsworth McKinney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Paul Park; and two brothers, J. W. McKinney and Charlie McKinney. She was a homemaker; and she had lived in Tift County for over 50 years.
Mrs. Ellis is survived one son, Mike Ellis of Tifton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Paula Park of Brookfield and Jackie and John Abbott of Vanceville; one brother, Otis McKinney of Cairo; one sister, Lois Becham of Lizella; two grandchildren, Becky Arnold and Brett Abbott, both of Tifton; and three great-grandchildren, Will Arnold, Katie Arnold and Lauren Abbott, all of Tifton.
