Doris V. Kaufman of Revere passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 99. Doris was the sister of Cecile Rothaus (Al) of Boca Raton, FL and Sister-in-Law of May Kaufman of Swampscott. Pre-deceasing her were sisters Jeanne Zucker and Bette Elfman, and brother James Kaufman. Doris was also the beloved aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Doris loved dancing, fashion and took great pride in working until she just retired a few months ago at age 99. Doris started work at age 12 and worked for 87 straight years. For the last 65 years, Doris worked for the same company, New England Doll and Novelty in Lynnfield.
A private graveside service is scheduled for May 20th for her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory may be made to the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, 126 High Street, Boston, MA 02110 or online at Give.CJP.org.
