Ryan Gustin, 51, of Anderson passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2024.
Ryan was born on October 2, 1972 in Anderson, IN and was the son of Darryl Gustin and Marsha Kay Meek. He was raised in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School. After graduation, he worked in the automobile industry primarily in the parts division of various dealerships. He also worked as an independent contractor in IT.
Ryan enjoyed the music of the Eagles and Carl Story, playing his drums, spending time with his “cuddle buddies”, reminiscing, and family gatherings.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Marsha Kay Reed and Darryl Gustin, his grandparents, Fred and Ruth Meek, Gerald “Bud” and Marilyn Gustin; and his uncle, Ronald Meek.
He is survived by his brothers, Brad “BJ” (wife, Bea) Gustin and Regan Reed; five nieces and nephews; his stepmother, Ann Gustin; his aunts, Cheryl (Bob) Stow and Elizabeth Meek; uncle, Dean (Nina) Gustin; his cousin, Jennifer Meek who was like a little sister to him. He also has several cousins and a lifelong friend, Bill (Nicci) Hovermale.
Memorial service will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00om-6:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
