Sharon L. (McMahon) Johnson, 70, of Londonderry, NH, passed away while surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday May 15, 2024, at her home following a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on January 28, 1954, in Woburn, MA, a daughter of Marion (Gray) and Lewis McMahon and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 11 years, formerly living in Derry, NH.
Sharon worked for many years at BJ’S Wholesale Club in Salem, NH as a supervisor. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and Disney World, working on stained glass and ceramics. Most of all, Sharon loved family movie nights and outings with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and Mammy.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Gary Johnson Sr., two sons, Gary Johnson, Jr. and fiancé Barbara Sott and their daughter Samantha, Jeffrey Johnson and his wife Diane, daughter, Kristen Hargreaves and husband Jason, three grandchildren, Aiden, Dylan, and Mason, two brothers, Lewis McMahon, and his wife Samantha, and Robert McMahon and his wife Paula; one sister, Linda McMahon; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by one brother, Glen McMahon.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 19, 2024, from 4 – 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with cremation to follow. A Period of sharing will be offered at 6pm during the calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11:00am in the Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry, NH.
