WELCH Edward F. a lifelong resident of West Roxbury, passed away on April 13, 2024. Beloved son of the late Edward F. and Eleanor D. (Scott) Welch. Edward was loved by his neighbors as well as a brilliant, irreplaceable, and great team worker. As a member and Lead Computer Architect for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Systems and NTTDATA Services, Ed shepherded the growth of IT infrastructure to being one of New England’s premiere health care systems.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, May 20th from 4-7pm. A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery 990 LaGrange St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, May 21st at 9:30am, (please proceed directly to the cemetery).
