Douglas – Diane M. (Hubbard) Reynolds, 74, of Douglas passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a brief illness.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John L. Reynolds; her four sons, John Reynolds Jr. of Douglas, Michael Reynolds of Portland, ME, Scott Reynolds of Worcester and Jamie Reynolds and her beloved daughter in law, Stacy of Dummer, NH; two brothers, Birger “Billy” Hubbard of Sebastien, FL and David Hubbard of Webster; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Reynolds was born in Waltham, MA daughter of the late Albert and Corrine (Barke) Hubbard and is also predeceased by two brothers, Albert Hubbard and Warren “Dickie” Hubbard and three sisters, Linda Hubbard, Denise Duffey and Kathleen Lucier.
Diane moved from Waltham to Worcester as a child and graduated from the former David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. She worked her entire career as a certified nurse’s aide, working many years at the former Mill Hill Nursing Home until it closed and then worked the remainder of her career at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital until retiring.
Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed many things; however, she was truly the happiest when she was with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She always cherished the memories that made from the yearly vacations that were taken to Hampton Beach.
