Amy Gordon, 50, passed away on Thursday, May 9 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness with her sister by her side.
She was born on December 9, 1973 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late David Gordon and Judy Sawyer. She was raised and educated on Cape Cod and was a graduate of Barnstable High School. She worked for many years as a bartender at Pearl Street Station Restaurant in Malden. She loved cats and Boston sports and she was also an avid reader who also loved historical documentaries.
In addition to her mother, Judy, she is survived by her siblings, Jody Gordon, Marc Sawyer and Alex Gordon and her nephews, Brandon and Justin. She is also survived by her stepmother, Cary, many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Nancy Anderson who recently helped care for her.
On Thursday, May 16, all are welcome to attend her visitation from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury 978-851-2061
