Frances E. (Gomez) Rogers, 96, of Little Compton, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Rogers.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel V. and Serena C. (Ramos) Gomez and had been a lifelong resident of Little Compton. Prior to retirement, she had worked as a bookkeeper. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton where she had also served as a Eucharistic Minister and parish auditor. She was a member of the Portsmouth Senior Center.
Survivors include her 2 brothers: Richard J. Gomez and Albert R. Gomez, both of Little Compton; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Leo A. Gomez and Leonard V. Gomez and sister-in-law of the late Jean R. Marion.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Friday, May 17, 2024 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Friday at the Potter Funeral Home from 9-10A.M., prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.
