LACONIA ----- Diane M. (Conley) Callaghan, 73, of Laconia, formerly of Braintree, Quincy and S. Weymouth, MA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, after declining health at Concord Hospital in Laconia.
Diane was born on November 20, 1950, in Boston, MA, the daughter of John and Loretta (Hoar) McDonough.
Diane enjoyed socializing with friends at the Elks, cruise vacations, shopping with her step-son John, and Bingo. She especially enjoyed her Tuesday night dinners with her cousin June and her husband Frank. She was always the happiest when she was spending time with friends and family.
Diane is survived by her loving husband John ‘Jack’ Callaghan, daughters Christine (Eric) Lindstrom and Maureen (Michael) Rivet, stepchildren, John P. Callaghan, Maureen Williams and Stephanie Radner five grandchildren, Angela, Erin, William, John and Joseph, brother Kerry McDonough and sisters Lori Muse, Maureen Robinson and Janice Prutch. In addition to her parents, Diane is predeceased by her first husband Robert Conley, stepson Peter Callaghan, sister Deborah Williams, and brothers John McDonough and Michael McDonough.
The family would like to thank Diane’s sister Lori for helping their mom with housework and being there for her as her health declined.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 3:00pm-6:00pm, at the Laconia Elks Lodge 876, 17 Sugarbush Lane, Gilford, NH 03249.
