Worcester: David M. Aquafresca, also known as Dave “Arkie” Aquafresca, 74, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 9, 2024. He leaves a son David Aubin and his girlfriend Diana Lucier of Worcester; bonus daughter Tina Aubin: grandchildren David and his wife Erin, Joshua and his wife Megan, Nicholas, Chad, Tracy, and Dakota; great grandchildren Christopher, Isabella, and little Josh his best friend for life Kas; siblings- Anne, Linda, Kelley, Phil, Donald, Neil, Johnny, Michael, and Roy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Robert and Bobby.
Arkie as he was affectionately known, was born in Worcester, son of the late Michael and Betty (Condon) Aquafresca. He graduated from Oxford High School and worked as a handyman throughout the years. He enjoyed gambling, going for a ride in his boat on Lake Quinsigamond, and rooting for all New England sports teams. He loved his dogs Augie Dog and A.D. 2.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm. In the 4th and 1 Sports Bar 7 Muskeego St. Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arkie’s memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League or the MSPCA.
