WORCESTER - Mr. Domenic A. Gallo Jr., 92, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife and family by his side on Sunday, May, 5, 2024.
Domenic was born on November 6, 1931 in Worcester, a son of the late Domenic and Italia (Quatela) Gallo.
He was a lifelong resident graduating from Commerce High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Upon his return he began his career at the United States Post Office in Central Saure, Worcester as a sorter for over thirty-five years.
Domenic was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved being with his family enjoying the holidays and the many family events.
He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved horse racing. Domenic will be greatly missed by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of fifty-eight years, Concetta (Mosher) Gallo; a son, Domenic Gallo and his wife Monica; seven grandchildren, Tanya Lamarche, Nichole Jamieson, Stephanie Figueroa, Tiffany Figueroa, Jennifer Gallo, Brittany Gallo and Gina Sicuranza and her husband Brooks. Also sixteen great grandchildren.
Domenic was predeceased by his daughter, Tina Gallo.
A private funeral was held at St John’s Mausoleum on Saturday May 11, 2024.
