SCARBOROUGH- Willis "Willy" B Moulton Ill passed away on May 7th, 2024, at home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Portland Maine on
January 31st 1943. After graduating from Scarborough High School Willis went on to Serve in the United States Coast Guard.
He then became a hard working commercial fisherman and in the later years a local lobsterman. He built his own skiff to get to and from his lobster
boat. It was a work of art that was always getting photographed and seen in the local newspapers.
When he wasn't on the water working he was there for pleasure, striper fishing.
Willis had a passion for restoring old Corvettes and his favorite was the 1963 split window. When he was done with a restoration it looked like the day it
rolled off the showroom floor. He also enjoyed shooting, he was an expert shot and won many State Championships in Trap. When deer hunting season
came around you could be sure he would have a trophy rack (maybe two) to add to his collection on his garage walls.
He was predeceased by his brother- Jon Rolfes in 2021.
Willis is survived by his beloved wife- Jane (Fuller) Moulton; his children- Tracey and her husband Greg Brown of Saco and Bryant Moulton and his
partner Rebecca Flaherty of Scarborough; his grandchildren- Megan, Brianna, Zachary, Jordan, Bradley and Dylan; and seven great grandchildren.
There will not be a funeral Service per his wishes. Online condolence messages can be submitted at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service website, www.mainefuneral.com
In lieu of flowers, support your local lobsterman. Enjoy a couple lobsters and think of Willis
He will be deeply missed by his many friends and loved ones
