LACONIA ---- Norman Eric Day, 74, of Mechanic Street, passed away Thursday May 2, 2024 in Concord Hospital after a short illness, shortly after saying goodbye to his wife of 51 years and his daughter.
He was born on April 23, 1950, in Laconia, NH, the son of Lenard Day and Jean (Davis) Day.
Norman lived here in Laconia, NH, most of his life. He spent 18 years in New Jersey and lived in Florida for a few years. In his younger years he did tree work and in his later years he was mainly employed as a house painter.
He is survived by his wife Jeannie Ryan Day; daughter Tammy Howe and her partner Jayson Sinclair of Laconia, NH; two grandsons, Shawn Sinclair and Matthew Sinclair, of Laconia, NH; two great grandchildren, Sophie and Isla Sinclair, of Laconia, NH; sister Linda Granger and her husband William, of Florida; three brothers, Gary Day and his wife Beverly, of Florida, Michael Juraska, and Jeffrey Juraska, of Warren, NH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Norman is predeceased by his mother Jean Juraska; stepfather Andrew Juraska; brother John Juraska; great grandmother Jessie Converse; and three furry friends, Angie, Amos, and Rocket.
He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Bayside Cemetery, Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
