Norine F. (DiGiorgio) Souris, of Debary, Florida, passed away on Saturday, April 26th. She was 66. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the cherished daughter of the late John L. and Norma D. (Rosati) DiDiorgio.
Norine attended Saint John’s elementary school in Boston’s North End, and later graduated from Charlestown High School, and Bunker Hill Community College. In her early adulthood she worked as a dental hygienist and later became a physician’s associate. She relocated with her family down to Florida in 2003.
Norine was a devout follower of Christ. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, boating, gardening and going to the beach. She will be remembered for her strength and determination.
Norine was the devoted mother of Nicholas and John Michael Souris. She was the dear sister John L. DiGiorgio, and Karen Burke and her husband Stephen. She was the loving godmother of John Michael Keating. She was the proud owner of Max and Chit her beloved cats. She was the former wife of Nick Souris. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Norine’s family at Saint Leonard Church, 320 Hanover Street, Boston on Wednesday, May 22nd from 9:15AM to 10:15 AM, with a funeral service at 10:15 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
