He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Alfred and Veronica (Barber) Fournier. Born with a spirit as resilient as the ocean he cherished, Bob proudly served his country as a United States Marine, embodying the core values of honor, courage, and commitment. His time aboard a battleship during Bob's era was marked by unwavering resolve and camaraderie, forging bonds that would last a lifetime. Following his honorable service, he embarked on a new journey as an entrepreneur, establishing and nurturing his own septic and oil cleanup business, Liquid Waste Specialists, Inc., for four decades. Through hard work and determination, he not only built a successful enterprise but also became a pillar of his community, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him. In his free time, Bob found solace and joy in the simplicity of nature. Whether casting a line into the tranquil waters, tending to the birds with care, or navigating the slopes with grace, he reveled in every moment spent outdoors. His passion for fishing, hunting, skiing, and sailing knew no bounds, as he explored the wonders of the world around him with boundless enthusiasm. Bob's adventurous spirit extended beyond the shores, as he embarked on countless excursions in his beloved RV, traversing the scenic landscapes of the Florida Keys and the enchanting realms of Disney. Each journey was an opportunity to create cherished memories with his cherished family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Though Bob has set sail on his final voyage, his spirit remains ever-present in the gentle sway of the trees, the whisper of the waves, and the laughter of loved ones gathered in remembrance. May his legacy of bravery, resilience, and reverence for nature continue to inspire all who knew him, guiding them through life's currents with unwavering strength and grace.
