Fred D. Turner, 88, of Anderson passed away on May 6, 2024 at Northview Health and Living following an extended illness.
He was born on August 6, 1935 in Anderson, IN to Tom Turner Sr. and Edna (Rigney) Turner.
He was a member of the New Covenant Ministry Center. He enjoyed building model cars and loved animals.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and caregivers, Maria Turner and Mike Brantlinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Tom Turner Jr., Marion Turner, Jim Turner, and John Turner.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm at New Covenant Ministry Center, 1224 E. 44th Street, Anderson, IN with Pastor David McConnell.
A private burial will take place in Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to New Covenant Ministry Center, Rangeline Community Center or Animal Protection League.
