Wesnher Baptiste of Brockton, MA sadly left us on April 13,2024 at the age of 59. Born in Cotes-De-Fer, Haiti he eventually made Brockton, MA, his home.
Wesnher was cherished as a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. To some, he was a pillar of strength, offering witty humor and steadfast support. To a select few, he could be a playful nuisance, yet his loyalty was unwavering.
He was a faithful member of the Catholic Community for many years and was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whomever needed it. He was also known among his family and friends as a great tailor from a very young age who took pride in his work; a profession that would eventually turn into a hobby because he could never let go of his passion for tailoring.
Wesnher was preceded in death by his brothers Franner Baptiste and Gerald Baptiste and his parents Edmanton Baptiste and Analia Gedeon Baptiste. He is survived by his wife Gyna Bernado Baptiste, his children Nicholas, Needly, Vladhimir, Hannah and Mellieyah. His siblings Brunel Baptiste, Iverene Baptiste Simplice, Winston Baptiste, Vania Jacinthe, Jeanila Baptiste Vital, Laventure Baptiste, Benila Baptiste and Benito Cherfilus. He also left behind multiple nephews, nieces, cousins and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on for generations to come.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday May 10th from 6-9 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Saturday May 11th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 54 Lyman Street Brockton. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
