Worcester – Florence “Flo” A. (Shaylor) Dupuis, 75, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Flo is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dupuis; a son, Kurt Dupuis and his wife, Jennifer of Worcester; two sisters, Rose Machado of Webster and Trudie Demers of Florida; four grandchildren, Carissa Dupuis, Chelsea Dupuis, Andrew Dupuis and Mika Dupuis and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas King and Evelyn Shaylor and is also predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Ernie Shaylor.
Flo graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester and worked for over 30 years as a jobsite supervisor for the Occupational Training Center and then Seven Hills.
Family was the priority for Flo, she enjoyed watching her television shows, snacking on some Smartfood, gardening and doing yardwork, but she was truly the happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren. She shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Mika and they considered each other to be their best friend.
Funeral services are being held privately and are being directed by Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
