Michael J. Hall 60, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday May 6, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Lisa D. (Howard) Hall, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.
Born July 16, 1963, in Meriden, Connecticut a son of the late Jerome and Maryanne (McLaughlin) Hall, he was a former resident of Westborough, until moving to Franklin in 1992.
He was raised and educated in Westborough and was a graduate of Westborough High School.
Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, he attained the rank of ET3 and served aboard the USCG UNIMARK. Michael was awarded the Coast Guard Marksmanship Ribbon, the First Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal and the Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation and was honorably discharged in 1987.
Michael was the Director of Production Support for Fidelity Investments and enjoyed old cars, especially his Chevy Chevelle, the beach and trips to Aruba, Puerto Rico and Sarasota Florida.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Adam M. Hall of Quincy, his siblings, Katie Hall of Arlington, Margaret Kinsman of Westborough, Patrick Hall of New Windsor, Maryland, Jennifer Hall of Winchester and Daniel Hall of Ashburnham.
He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Friday May 10th from 4-7PM.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Franklin Food Pantry 341 West Central Street Franklin, MA 02038.
