WORCESTER_Ludwik Jachimczyk, 93, of Worcester, died Friday, May 3, 2024, in Life Care Center of Auburn. His wife of seventy-one years, Stanislawa “Stasia” Jachimczyk passed away in 2019. HE is survived by his five sons, Marian Jachimczyk and his wife Deborah of Worcester, Louis Jachimczyk and his wife Mary of Douglas, Michael Jachimczyk, and his wife Mary Jane of Millbury, Wieslaw Jachimczyk and his wife Kathleen and Daniel Jachimczyk and his wife Andrea of Dudley; brother Walter Jachimczyk of Auburn; sister Wanda Mlynarski of Florida; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a granddaughter, Lee Ann Jachimczyk; brothers, Janek and Grzegorz Jachimczyk and sisters Sophie Lis and Bronislawa Kurowska. He was born in Stary Myszyniec, Poland, a son of Felix and Rosalia (Ropiak) Jachimczyk.
Mr. Jachimczyk immigrated to the United States in 1962. He worked many years in the maintenance department of Table Talk Pie Company retiring in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Ludwik enjoyed spending time with family and watching it grow. A hardworking man, he was an enthusiastic outdoorsman and appreciated fishing and hunting. Fond of music, he was an artful accordion player.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00 am with a Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Noter Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St. www.worcesterfuneral.com
