STANDISH – Madelyn Christine Adams, 81, passed away on April 30, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on May 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Clarence and Evaline Grover. She attended Portland High School. She married the love of her life, Norman Adams Sr in 1961 and they had 3 sons. Madelyn was employed at Fairchild Semiconductor followed by Sylvania. Madelyn enjoyed music, puzzle books and spending time with her family. She was willing to share her home and/or food with anyone who needed help. She is predeceased by her father Clarence Sr, mother Evaline, husband Norman Sr, son Millard “Smiley”, and brothers’ Clarence Jr and Arthur. Madelyn is survived by her sons’ Norman Jr “Skip” and his wife Dawn and Charles “Chucky” and his significant other Georgette, sister Marion “Snookie” and her husband Charles “Chuck”, brothers’ Ransom “Sonny” and his wife Roxanne “Rocky” and William “Billy” Sr and his significant other Cindy, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many, cousins, nieces and nephews. A burial will be held on Saturday June 1st at 12:00 at Riverside Cemetery on Fish Street in Fryeburg followed by a celebration of life at Kezar Lake in Lovell.
