Collins T. Sonwabe, 34, unexpectedly passed away on April 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, warmth, and joy. He was born on June 9, 1989, in Liberia, the cherished son of Collins B. Sonwabe of Lowell and Yampu Tabolo of Liberia. Collins was also deeply loved and cherished by his fiancée, Maria Ramos.
Collins spent his formative years in Liberia before journeying to Philadelphia with his father and eventually settling in Lowell in 2018. Throughout his life, Collins pursued his passion for art, particularly painting, which served as a vibrant expression of his inner world and imagination. He was also an avid gamer, finding joy in both playing and streaming games, and his love for cats was a constant source of comfort and companionship.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Collins found solace and excitement in the rhythm of basketball, the harmony of music, and the freedom of dancing. His infectious sense of humor, unwavering positivity, and serene demeanor endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Collins will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Collins B. Sonwabe and Yampu Tabolo, his devoted fiancée, Maria Ramos, and his caring stepmother, Antoinette Harmon of Arizona. He is also survived by his cherished sisters, Christine Todey and Faavor Flahn of Arizona, as well as his step children Amelya , Yamylet and his step granddaughter Reinayla. He also leaves numerous friends, aunts, nieces, and nephews in Pennsylvania and Minnesota.
Although Collins' physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, creativity, and gentle soul. May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in eternal peace.
