Bruno R Calistro,85, a resident of Dracut MA, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Carol Calistro with whom he would’ve celebrated his 63rd wedding anniversary with on June 4th.
Born in East Boston on October 8th, 1938. He was the son of Ralph Calistro and Rose (Miraglia) Calistro and raised by Catherine Aiello.
Prior to retiring he was employed as a Union Electrician at the Local IBEW 103.
Bruno and Carol enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Aruba and cruising the Mississippi. They spent many summers at the Cottage on Lake Winnipesauke.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children: Robert Calistro and his wife Sharon Lee of Chester NH, Susan Doherty and her husband Paul of Tewksbury MA, Paul Calistro and wife Trisha of Pelham, NH; seven grandchildren Matthew Doherty and wife Manoela, Katie Florio and husband Anthony, Amanda Calistro and husband Roger, Andrew Doherty and partner Samantha, Sara Calistro and partner Ryan, Erica Calistro and partner Kyle, Michael Calistro and fiancé Rachel; four great grandchildren Averie, Tommy, Hudson and Quinn.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 6th from 3-6 pm at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home 16 Lee St Tewksbury MA 01876.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday May 7th at 11 am at St Mary Magdalen Church 95 Lakeview Ave Tyngsboro MA 01879. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at church. Private interment will be held at a later date.
