Hazel M. Gosselin

Hazel Marion (Simpson) Gosselin, age 81, a resident of Tewksbury for 55 years and active member of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Walter A. Gosselin with whom she would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on June 25. 2024.
Born in Medford on December 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. Simpson and the late Bertha M. (Dame) Simpson.
Hazel was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School.
Prior to retiring, she was employed as an administrative assistant in the publishing industry. Also worked for Best Home Care as a caregiver.
In her spare time, Hazel loved spending time with her family. As well as bowling, cooking, baking, crochet, sewing, visiting Hampton Beach, and was an avid collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Brian A. Gosselin, of Tewksbury and Wendy Y. Hobbs, of Haverhill: four grandchildren, Kendra Beaudoin and her husband Stephen, Zak Gosselin, Kayle Hobbs, and Natalie Gosselin: three great grandchildren, Connor Gosselin, Teddi Beaudoin, and Micky Beaudoin. Hazel was the sister of Alan Simpson and his late wife Sally, of Wakefield, Richard Simpson and his wife Helen, of Methuen, and the late Merle Kay and her surviving husband Charles, of Ft. Myers, FL. She leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. The location of Gosselin lot is Fred M. Carter Avenue. Those attending are asked to meet at cemetery. At the request of her family, please omit flowers.
