Paul developed multiple hobbies that he passionately pursued. In his younger years, he enjoyed cycling through New Hampshire on his Trek bicycle. He also played the guitar, both acoustic and electric, for decades. Throughout his professional career and into his retirement, Paul nurtured a deep love for golf, playing in leagues as well as with his son and grandson on courses throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Additionally, Paul dedicated decades to perfecting his woodworking skills. He became a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen, taught woodturning classes at Woodcraft, and mastered techniques in lathe turning, furniture making, joinery, and finishing. He particularly enjoyed creating pens and Christmas ornaments for family and friends.
