Bertha "Mae" Hall Partain, 95, of Tifton passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Southwell Health and Rehab in Adel. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Keith Burch and the Rev. Shane Suggs officiating. Mrs. Partain will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Justin Partain, Terry Allen, Mike Beaumont, Mark Blanchard, Richie Johnson and Trent Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 13, 1928, in Lanier County, Mrs. Partain was the daughter of the late Horace Hall and Lou Bertha Alred Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fairell “Bill” Partain; one granddaughter, Karen Ballantyne; five sisters and three brothers. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Sonrise Chapel in Tifton.
Mrs. Partain is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Tammy Partain and Billy and Marilyn Partain, all of Tifton; two daughters, Margie Partain (Frank Sullivan) of Salem, Alabama and Linda Langley of Tifton; two brothers, J. W. Hall of Lakeland and Earnest Hall of Lowndes County; one sister, Betty H. Gaskins of Lakeland; seven grandchildren, Hannah Partain, Justin Partain, Terry Allen, Kevin Allen, Matthew Partain, Angel Watts, and Gail Rugg; eight great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
