Laura E. Chadwick, 74, of Derry, NH, passed away Thursday April 18, 2024, in Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 23, 1949, in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late William, Jr., and Laura (Tenero) Troy, and had been a resident of Derry for the past 50 years, formerly living in Salem, NH.
Laura graduated from LGH School of Nursing in 1970 and spent her life as an RN. She worked for the next 35 years at Southern Internal Medicine until her retirement. Laura loved to kayak and take walks around Beaver Lake. She enjoyed working on her flowers and garden and visiting and talking to her many friends around the lake. She spent time in the summers at Moxie Lake in Maine and enjoyed the activities there with her family and friends. If you met her, you knew her, and if you knew her, you definitely liked her. She will be missed.
Laura is survived by her loving husband, Albert Chadwick, Jr.; two sons, Brendan Chadwick, and Ryan Chadwick; three granddaughters, Alexis Chadwick, Makayla Chadwick, and Javelynn Chadwick; and 13 siblings, Billy, Vickie, Peg, Molly, Joe, Jim, Betty, Chuck, Winnie, Dot, Bob, Michael, and Tricia
Following cremation there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Friends of Dana-Farber, 450 Brookline Ave., SW120, Boston, MA 02215
