Mazel Norman Allen, 84, of LaGrange passed away Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Hospice LaGrange. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Allen at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2002, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiated.
Born April 29, 1917, in Tift County, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Jeff Norman and Avie Mathis Norman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Allen; two brothers; and one sister. Before retiring, she was a dental hygienist for Dr. John Peterson; and she was a member of Vanceville Congregational Christian Church.
Mrs. Allen is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sidney and Royce A. Bradfield of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Robert Bradfield, Gina Bradfield and Jim Allen Bradfield; one niece, Penny Norman Stinson; and two nephews, Jeffrey Waldrop Smith and Tommy Norman.
