Marina González de Roslindale, nacida en Cotui, República Dominicana, falleció el dia 23 de Abril del 2024. Amada hija de Flora Gonzalez y su fallecido padre Arcadio Gonzalez. Madre de Jonas y Jonaris Leonardo. Hermana de Rosa Gonzalez, Felicia Perez, Juana Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Arcadio Gonzalez, Teresa Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez, y Rafael Gonzalez.
Marina González, amada madre, hija, hermana y tía, falleció tras una valiente batalla contra el cáncer. Su memoria permanecerá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la amaron, sirviendo como testimonio de su espíritu indomable.
Marina era una de nueve hermanos, conocida por su inquebrantable resistencia y fuerza. Desde temprana edad se convirtió en la roca de la familia González, ofreciendo apoyo incondicional a todos los necesitados. Su presencia era una fuente de consuelo y alegría, su risa iluminaba cualquier habitación en la que entraba. Frente a la enfermedad, el sentido del humor y el optimismo de Marina nunca decayeron, y a menudo convertía los momentos difíciles en momentos llenos de risas y calidez.
Su fe era inigualable y la guió por la vida de principio a fin. Se le conocía cariñosamente como Mary, nombre que siempre ocupará un lugar especial en el corazón de sus hijos, Jonaris y Jonas, quienes eran su orgullo y alegría. Su madre, Flora, que estuvo a su lado siempre y extrañará profundamente a su amada hija.
El legado de Marína se extiende más allá de su familia inmediata; era amiga y confidente de muchos, siempre dispuesta a dar una palabra amable o un oído atento. Su compasión y bondad fueron ilimitadas y su espíritu seguirá inspirando a quienes la conocieron.
Aunque ya no esté con nosotros, el amor y la luz de Marina seguirán guiándonos. Ahora ella es nuestro ángel de la guarda y nos cuida desde arriba. Apreciaremos los recuerdos y llevaremos su espíritu con nosotros, sabiendo que ella siempre será parte de nuestras vidas.

Marina González, beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt, has lost a brave battle against cancer. Her legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who love her.
Marina, one of nine siblings, who showed incomparable strength in overcoming adversity. From a very young age she was the pillar of the González family, providing unconditional support to those who needed it.
Her presence was always accompanied with a smile and her joy and optimism took over any space she occupied. She never lost her sense of humor. Marina was a light, she infected us daily with her joy, her humor above all, and her unstoppable faith. God guided her life from the beginning until her last breath.
Mary, as we affectionately knew her, now becomes a guardian angel to us all, especially to her beloved children, Jonaris and Jonas, whom she loved with all her being. Also for her mother, Flora, who was always by her side.
Mary's memory will live eternally in our hearts.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Sunday, April 28th from 1-4pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, April 29th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 14 Montebello Rd. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 at 10am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
