Edward Francis Fraine 58, of Bellingham, died April 22 in the Hope Healthcare Hulitar Hospice after a brief illness. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Mulry) Fraine for the past 34 years.
Born in Boston on February 3, 1966 he was the son of the late David S. and Elizabeth P. (Carroll) Fraine. In addition to his wife Tricia, he is survived by his children, Danielle Sabourin and her husband Rob of Northbridge, Lauren Fraine and Erin Fraine of Bellingham.
He is also survived by his siblings, David and his wife Roberta of Florida, John and his wife Rose of Washington, the late Gerry and his wife Gina of New Hampshire, Joseph and his wife Diane of West Roxbury, Denis and his partner Tess of Bellingham, Dan of Reading, Beth and her husband Rich of Walpole, Pat and his wife Deb of Mattapoisett, Chris and his wife Jessica of New Bedford, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Ed was raised in Roslindale and lived in Bellingham for the past 26 years.
Ed was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and also a graduate of Bunker Hill Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts.
Ed started his own consulting company, Fraine & Associates after working for Sodexo for 30 years.
He enjoyed all sports whether it was playing, coaching, or watching his favorite New England teams. Further, he enjoyed beating the “bad guys” at Bocce on Wingaersheek Beach, a nice cigar and a glass of Crown Royal on the deck, and spending his time with family, friends and most importantly his beloved wife Tricia and their three daughters.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 27 at St. Blaise Church in Bellingham at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin immediately following the funeral mass.
