Mary J. Nagy (1928-2024)
Born in the roaring 20's, she lived to be 95. Mary’s greatest joy came from her family. Survived by her three children Walt Nagy, Sandi Sullivan and Krystal Milligan and a cherished grandmother to Terry Milligan, Jeremy Milligan and Grange Nagy. She is now in heaven in the arms of her mother, sisters and brothers.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She traveled early in her life to Ventura, and enjoyed the atmosphere and made it her home. Everyone who spoke of her said what a kind and thoughtful person she was. Her legacy of unwavering kindness will continue to live in each one of us. We will carry her memory in our hearts, honoring her by living with the same gentleness and kindness she so effortlessly embodied.
As we say goodbye, let us carry forward her spirit of gentleness and kindness. I am reminded of a verse from the Robert Frost poem: “choosing the road less traveled.” Let us honor her memory by choosing the road less traveled-the road of kindness, compassion and simplicity.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at 1:00 at Ivy Lawn Cemetery.
